Team Fortress 2: From the Orange Box to Free to Play in Just Four Years was a GDC 2012 panel hosted by programmer Joe Ludwig, and dropped some pretty interesting numbers, among them: 400%, 30 million, 8 million, 1.7 million, 3 million, 10 million, and $300,000.

Dr. Ether (Ethercast) has made a series of videos highlighting the voice actors in TF2. Each video starts off with an example of the actor's TF2 character(s), then segues into other examples of the actor's work, e.g. YouTube, film, and other media. Pretty fascinating stuff.

Rumours are aswirl that TF2 may, after nearly 4 years, become completely free. It would make sense, and seems like a very Valve thing to do, and it's another reason, despite my great and abiding love for Quake 3, that I will feel no grief if Quake Live crashes and burns.
