Mozilla's Massively Multiplayer HTML5 Experiment is pretty neat, more in terms of showing off the technology than anything else. Implementation notes are here, and the code's on Github.

Realm of the Mad God, eh? It's a free-to-play massively multiplayer online pixel-art 2D overhead-view RPG bullet hell browser shooter, if you can believe that shit. Superficially shallow, giddy fun with a microtransaction substrate for the hardcore fan but very playable indeed as a free game. [more inside]
