    Nomic is a game invented by philosopher Peter Suber in 1982 in which the rules can be changed as part of the gameplay itself. Though there exists an initial set of rules they do little more than regulate the rule-changing process. The only substantive rule, (how to earn points toward winning), is “deliberately boring so that players will quickly amend it to please themselves”.
