PC gaming can be a headache and often gamers bring their headaches to forums to see if anyone else brought the Excedrin. Terribly, people will post again to say their problem is resolved without posting the details of their solution. Memrise is a dead simple farming game much like the Zen Garden in Plants vs. Zombies but instead of fertilizer, spray water and phonography, this garden is kept alive by learning. Each plant represents another word or small phrase in another language and they live by your responses to randomized questions and die by your inattention. [via] [more inside]

SpaceChem is an excellent sci-fi puzzle game about making chemical compounds using a circuit-like interface. Rock, Paper, Shotgun gave it high marks and generally has lots of nice things to say about its designer, Zach Barth. Sound familiar? It should - he's the genius behind the now-defunct Infiniminer, cited by Notch as the inspiration for Minecraft.
