1. It is probably one of the best pieces of gaming music ever and that is a pretty swell cover indeed. I believe I bought the Diablo 1 and 2 OSTs just because of the Tristram theme song. Ahh the memories.

    Entirely jokey, but awesome is the Deckard Cain Rap.

  2. Awesome cover. Was it the same composer as the Starcraft music, because it sounds very similar, sans the 80s overdrive guitar.

  3. Matt Uelmen, the composer for Diablo music, was loaned to Starcraft’s team for a while though he wasn’t the main composer, so that may indicate why it sounds like him sometimes.

    He is a fantastic composer and now works for Runic Games, aka the people that made Torchlight.
