1. I’ve also seen regular monitors that they’re developing to do this, but the bezel is about five inches thick at the moment. I’m curious to check it out, but somehow I still think 3D is kind of a fad… though I could see more potential for it in gaming than for just movies.

  2. Ooh, they also just released Plants vs Zombies for the DS a couple days ago. I need to dust mine off and charge it up!

  3. Nintendo really needs to revamp their online network, especially in regards to downloadable content. I mean, they’re still using friend codes, for goodness sake!

    I agree that 3D is still very much a gimmick, and I really hope that the technology doesn’t make actual 2D games look less crisp.

    I can’t believe that the effective resolution for both screens is still x240. That’s barely larger than the original DS resolution. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the smartphone market, what with their 330-dpi displays and whatnot, but come on!
