1. Still on the fence about whether to pick this one up or not. I was off TF2 for quite a while, but I’m loving it again, and I don’t know if I need yet another game to eat my Saturdays alive…

Also on the fence myself. Basically wishing it was less than $10. But it looks like a lot of people might be playing this in the next 2 weeks, so I’m contemplating getting it while the going’s good.

  3. Oh man, I bought this after reading some glowing comments at MFC, and now that I’m home on my own PC again, I’ll start it installing tonight so I can give it a test run tomorrow. I’ll let you know if it’s worth it.

  4. I’m my experience, it’s totally worth it. The skills give an extra layer to the gameplay, and I tend to like the open, multi-tiered design of the levels. The possibility of ring-outs forces you to think more tactically when maneuvering around enemies, and there’s a nice variation in playstyles among the different classes.

My main pet peeve right now is the assassin’s auto-kill rear grapple, but then I also really hate spies in TF2. Less substantially, I predict I will get very, very sick of the commentator’s little quips and intros/outros, as there don’t seem to be enough snippets of dialogue to choose from.

  5. I am very very tempted; if it has longish-term legs as a game the community plays a lot, then I’ll give it a go. What’s the complexity like? I yearn a bit for the days when TF2 was a simpler affair.
