Unmanned: A Game
Unmanned is a thing that is like a game but isn't really, sort of. You probably should give it a try online, or as a Mac or PC download.

This is pretty neat. I can’t think of anyone who’s done this sort of 2-channel/splitscreen structure with a game before. I’m not sure if I’ll be compelled to play through enough times to figure out how the permutations work, but I might try to track down a transcript.
Some moments that stood out:
— end of the first scene, reveal of the 2-channel structure;
— thinking the (missed) award was nice a little joke, realizing later they’re in earnest;
— game inside a game, with simultaneous filial duties/distractions
